black Junction Tubing diameter 3,2

silver integrated conehead 14×5

black lining tubing 1,8

tail: Snow Runner or buck tail (in this fly black buck tail)

blue crystal flash

rear: hackle -black cock, or black nutria

body silver flat tinsel and silver rib

front hackle- blue soft rooster hackle. I use feathers from side of capes .
they are much softer and have thin hackle steam

Comments:

There is not a big difference between tying on this tubes compared to tying on Shrimp Tubes with a flange.
The only difference is that in the flanged/bottle version you can cover the thread with the separate cone head.
If you are concerned with the visibility of the thread it is also possible to make it completely invisible .
The best is to stop the body 2-3mm before the integrated cone. Tie the hackle in, and then tie the hackle off, tight against the gap between the hackle and cone.
Cover the thread with a little bit of super glue, take a few turns and done.
An other way is just to use thread in contrast colour, or cover it with some flashy dubbing, depending on the effect that you are after.

Flies tied this way are rock solid and will hold up well when fished close to a rocky river bottom.
