Giant peacock bass, payara, Pacu, shovelnose catfish, 4 different species of peacock bass (intermedia, monoculus, temensis, nigromaculatus), tambaqui, piraiba, sardinata, 10+ pound matrinxa, bicuda, gilded catfish, red tail catfish and firewood catfish and more can be caught in this river, with big Payara, matrinxa and Peacocks sight casting in shallow waters.
