Tomek was born in northern Poland, on the coast of Baltic sea. His family fishing traditions and proximity to the sea naturally led him to become an angler. Over the years he has tried many varieties of fishing, but only fly fishing was what he was looking for. So for almost 20 years he has had 3 different hobbies: fly fishing, fly casting and fly tying.
It was at the time that he was running his own fishing lake that he realized what made him happy; tying big flies, and catching big pikes – that was the most fun…. Like a maniac he was always looking for improvements, new ideas or easiest and most efficient ways to tie a fly. Especially those XXL sized patterns. In order to better understand the behaviour of flies, he would spend hours doing tests while standing in the water.
Now, together with his wife, and his friend they are running a project; Pike Terror Flies, where they are tying custom pike and big predators flies.
